In 2008 she began working with a partner to develop a website for Connecticut’s Black community and Co-Founded BlackinCT. Although no longer involved with the business or current website, Courtney was responsible for the original site build, development, online marketing and sales.

She is also the founding chapter member and previously (she stepped down to pursue other projects in January 2010), the Programming Director for the New Haven (Chapter) Social Media Club, lead organizer of Ignite New Haven and actively works to diminish the ‘digital divide‘.
